Paula and Brian's wedding video is finished!
Just blogging to post a quick reminder that my 2011 Calendar is completelely booked through October and I will be taking a maternity leave beginning in November. I will begin penciling in 2012 appointments in January and will start photographing sessions again in Spring (late March/early April) 2012. My website is now updated with my 2012 Session Rate Information (www.mirandaparkerphotography.com). An exciting thing to note... the family session is BACK, however I will be taking on immediate family sessions only, I will not be doing large extended family sessions.
I do have a handful of photographers I can recommend if you are looking for photos to take place in summer/fall 2011, so feel free to contact me for a trusted and reliable recommendation if you like!

20 months old, Ian
A few weeks ago I met up with little Ian and his super sweet mom, Beth, in downtown Midland for some photos. Ian is at that "go-go-go" age! Not much posing involved here, I just followed him around trying to capture him when he was still for a second. :) Isn't he handsome!?

Paula and Brian's First Look....
Paula and Brian are my first wedding couple to choose a First Look on their wedding day. What, might you ask, is a First Look? It means they chose to set aside 20 minutes BEFORE the wedding ceremony to have a special private moment where they see each other for the first time. The First Look is becoming more and more popular with wedding couples and photographers are typically huge fans of it because 1.) It's just a really special moment to capture and 2.) It gives us extra time with the bride and groom for photos of just them and frees up more time after the wedding ceremony for group/family photos so we aren't as rushed to squeeze everything in.
For Paula and Brian's First Look, I found a private location and left Brian with my 2nd shooter, Leilani Tucker (Leilani Tucker Photography) to wait as I fetched Paula and brought her to see her husband-to-be for the first time on their wedding day...

6 month old, Gabriel
This is my 3rd time photographing Gabriel and he just gets cuter and cuter. He has the most beautiful dark brown eyes that just let so much light in. Such a sweet and happy boy! Here are just a few peeks from our session...
